The largest and most impressive species cowslip from Tibet. It has
clusters of up to 80, nodding, pale yellow fragrant flowers from July to August. Vigorous and long-lived, it thrives in moist soil which doesn't dry out, ideal for bog gardens. Ht: to 1m (2-3ft)
Surface sow on moist seed compost and place inside a clear plastic bag and keep at between 18-20°C (65-68°F).
Do not exclude light as this helps germination which can take 1-3
months. Lower the temperature after germination.
Best sown in late Autumn.
