Gaillarda Red

Clump forming perennial with large, deep wine-red flowers produced from June to September. Excellent and long-lasting cut flowers, and attracts bees and butterflies. Plant in full sun, and well drained soil.
Height: 60cm (24")

Sow on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost. Cover very lightly with compost or vermiculite; (needs some light to germinate). Keep moist at between 20-25°C (70-75°F). Sowing Time: February to May.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle. Acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 30cm (12in) apart in full sun.
