Native European woodland plant with tall spikes of rose purple bell flowers, spotted inside, from late spring to early summer. Self-seeds freely. Stunning at the back of a border or in any shady

Sow in late spring /early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed, or in pots or trays.
Sow the seeds very thinly
and keep damp until germination takes place, between 2-4 weeks at 20*C.
Thin out seedlings when large enough to handle, and transplant
into flowering site in the autumn for flowering the following year.
