Hardy biennial producing large spikes of creamy white flowers in early summer. Excellent for the border in sun or part shade, and very useful as a cut flower.
Height 1.3-1.5m (4-5ft).
late spring /early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed, or in pots or trays.
Sow the seeds very thinly and keep damp until germination takes place, between 2-4 weeks at 20*C.
out seedlings when large enough to handle, and transplant into flowering site in the autumn for flowering the following year.
